About Me

I am currently a second-year Master in Public Policy student at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government.  Prior to enrolling in the Kennedy School, I worked in nonprofit financial development, most recently serving as the Director of Institutional Giving and Development Operations for the American Red Cross of Massachusetts Bay (now the American Red Cross of Eastern Massachusetts).  I also spent two years as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Maya Mopan, Belize, where I supported a variety of community agriculture projects including  organic school  gardening, pig rearing, and fair-trade organic cacao.

I started this blog  as part of a course I am taking at the Kennedy School entitled Media, Politics, and Power in the Digital Age taught by Nicco Mele.  Hopefully, after the course, its purpose will evolve.  Right now, it’s basically homework, but hopefully homework that you — whoever you are reading this — will enjoy.
